WRITING | Waukesha Freeman: "IKEA Oak Creek delights crowds at official grand opening" (2018)

I started freelancing for a Waukesha County print newspaper when I moved back to Wisconsin after college. I reported and photographed articles on local news including political town halls and public meetings, business openings, and arts & culture festivals.

My favorite story was about the Oak Creek IKEA grand opening. Turns out, there are a lot of people who really like IKEA, and it's fun talking to people about the little things that bring them joy.
