WRITING | Street Sense Media: "Obituary: Enzel Sudler" (2016)

During the fall semester of my senior year of college, I worked at a biweekly "street paper" that was co-written by college interns and community members experiencing homelessness.

Towards the end of my internship, I was assigned to write the obituary of a homeless man who had recently died. Although it's an old piece, it encapsulates what I love most about stories: they help us to find meaning, healing and connection even and especially during times of grief.
