Volunteer Photographer, PurpleStride Milwaukee 2023

I volunteered as the event photographer for the Milwaukee affiliate's 2023 Purplestride outdoor fundraising walk.

 

The day before, I learned that rain was forecast for the entire duration of the outdoor event... But luckily, I was able to borrow a camera rain cover from a friend. It ended up being an absolute blast! The love, hope and good humor of this community is so evident, even on a rainy day. I feel so grateful to have had the chance to help capture this story.
